I know, aliens, far out stuff, but people spot something that looks like our modern version of a computer, or spacesuit, or machine gun or whatever, and they don't stop to think, Oh, but this is our early, primitive attempt. In a thousand years when people are roaming the stars, will those items still look remotely like that? Or even still exist in any recognizable form?<br />Seriously, who would give the primitives a bulky notebook when, by the time the aliens have the technology to reach the stars, they would surely have the technology to create tiny computers that understand speech and can be implanted -- so that they can't be taken away from the intended recipient and can be used unobtrusively.<br />That's how MY aliens do it anyway. Maybe the ancient Greeks' visitors were just not that bright.<br />Also, what way is that to use a notebook computer? Does she intend to type on it while that child is holding it? Awkward!
