I'...Wow, three arguments with idiots in one day. I'll admit that last night I attempted to have a rational discussion with a nonsensical person on Facebook. I explained where his thinking had gone wrong using actual facts and he responded with, "Bullshit!" citing no actual facts of his own. At that point I gave up.
I wouldn't hate on the word "sheeple" though. I sometimes use it to describe people who believe everything they hear on Faux News without ever attempting to verify any of it. :)
Now, that thing with Hussein and Gaddafi is interesting. Yes, they were both homicidal dictators, but let's be honest, sometimes the U.S. looks the other way when it comes to homicidal dictators, countries with horrible human rights records, etc. Usually if we put up with homicidal dictators it's because we think taking them out will lead to even worse problems. It's not because of a conspiracy about banks and rich people, it's because the world is a crappy place and sometimes there are no good options, just bad ones and worse ones.Vivianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11459167602091243067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307187040250193857.post-60328410333161916902016-10-28T05:12:10.484-07:002016-10-28T05:12:10.484-07:00http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YwjORDnEQ8k/UzIXGAuX_CI/...http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YwjORDnEQ8k/UzIXGAuX_CI/AAAAAAAAwO4/T67U9LuSzp0/s1600/arguing-with-idiots-is-like-playing-chess-with-a-pigeon.jpg Andrew Buttershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18129116283463309554noreply@blogger.com
