Look at history, what is...I think you are mistaken. Look at history, what is often remembered the most are our greatest errors.

Even now climate change is inevitable. There is nothing that we can do to stop it. The population will grow, resources become scarce, and people will turn on each other.

You are also mistaken about the unlimited evil being mutually assured destruction. It's already here. Every country is armed with world ending weapons. The fact that they even exist proves evils triumph and is further accented by the prevalence of them. But no one will disarm them for fear that the others don't follow suit.

Sometimes evil isn't always a big finish, sometimes it's a slow spiral to doom. We've dug our own grave, it's just a matter of time before we fall in.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04020516704344292208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307187040250193857.post-22790120127052941692015-12-04T04:38:12.460-08:002015-12-04T04:38:12.460-08:00I wish I weren't a kindred pessimist, but I th...I wish I weren't a kindred pessimist, but I think you have it right. If evil *always* wins, as you naively opine, why are we here at all, cloistered in our First World Lives, spending our free time discussing it?Hontseur Thotshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10799765178908406877noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307187040250193857.post-48857420814727680372015-12-03T14:56:30.633-08:002015-12-03T14:56:30.633-08:00Tell that to the people who approved the developme...Tell that to the people who approved the development of the hydrogen bomb. Dinner conversations are more like texting, and going out to each people are on their phones instead of talking to each other. Our social networking sites just seem to accomplish the opposite of their purpose. It's not the great tragedies that are killing us, it's the slow disconnect in our day to day lives that will. Oh sure, in tragedy everyone gets together. But without it people won't give you the time of day. Technology that is supposed to bring us together is slowly bringing us apart. Everyone is stuck in their own little world, something the Internet helped to exacerbate.

I think humanity is doomed. Seems like everything that we do is always at the expense of something else. Your poem is irrelevant. There is no salvation for the damned.

Get out of your dream son, humanity has no hope.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04020516704344292208noreply@blogger.com
