In it, one of the characters is watching a historical play about the evolution of their land's monarchy...there's a lot of interesting things about this book, starting with our societal norms being flipped (women outnumber men enormously, when a man "marries", he marries into a group of women and a polyamorous relationship with them). But I love the character's observations that one of the biggest challenges her ancestor faced was an inability to make ANY decision. From "the white dress, or the red" to " set aside husband who can't sire children even though we love him".WyldFlamingohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07540342384095759977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307187040250193857.post-67791693274588119802021-01-27T01:36:25.748-08:002021-01-27T01:36:25.748-08:00In another order of Geekiness, Terry Pratchett'...In another order of Geekiness, Terry Pratchett's "Jingo" and the trousers of time.
